OREANDA-NEWS  The prosecutor's office returned over 100 enterprises with a total value of one trillion rubles to the ownership of Russia. This was stated by Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov in an interview with Interfax at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

According to him, the assets were returned to state ownership according to the claims of prosecutors filed by them since 2022. Among them were demands for the seizure of property as part of the anti-corruption fight.

In 2023, prosecutors secured the return to the state of 20 strategic enterprises that were illegally seized by foreign residents and used by them to the detriment of Russia's interests, Krasnov noted. He noted that the total value of the returned assets exceeds 370 billion rubles.
