OREANDA-NEWS  The US administration on Thursday extended the license for transactions with Russian banks, the Central Bank and the National Clearing Center (NCC) until December 18 for transactions in the nuclear energy sector.

"With the exception of the cases provided for in paragraph (c) of this general license, all operations prohibited by Executive Order 14024 involving one or more of the following legal entities whose activities are related to civil nuclear energy are permitted for the period up to 00:01 Eastern Coast Time on December 18, 2026," it says. in the license of the Ministry of Finance.

The license, in particular, specifies Gazprombank, VEB, Otkritie Bank, Sovcombank, Sberbank, VTB, Alfa-Bank, Rosbank, Zenit Bank, Bank Saint Petersburg, NCC, as well as structures in which their share is 50% or more.

Along with them, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation is named in the license.
