OREANDA-NEWS About 95% of all trade transactions between Russia and China are conducted in rubles and yuan, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov said.

"The volume of mutual settlements between our countries in national currencies is growing. The yuan and the ruble already account for ninety-five percent of all trade transactions between Russia and China," he said, speaking at the intergovernmental Russian-Chinese commission on investment cooperation.

Russia does not officially disclose data on the share of currencies in trade with other countries. At the same time, the Central Bank publishes regional statistics. So, in September, 37.2% of Russian exports to Asia were paid in rubles, and 41.6% in friendly currencies, 24.7% and 56.3% for imports, respectively.
