OREANDA-NEWS  The finalists of the Africa Cup of Football 2026, held in Morocco, have been determined. 

In the final match, the hosts of the tournament will play against the national team of Senegal. The game will take place on January 18 in Rabat.

Both semifinal matches were held on Wednesday, January 14th. Morocco and Nigeria failed to open the scoring, the fate of the match was decided in a penalty shootout, which was won by the hosts of the tournament. Senegal defeated Egypt in their semi-final with a minimum score. The losers in the semifinals on January 17th will compete for the third place.

On the eve of the semifinals, the favorites of the Africa Cup of Nations were named. The bookmakers named Morocco as the most likely winner of the tournament. Senegal is in second place.
