OREANDA-NEWS  A press conference of Compact magazine was held at the Russian Embassy in Germany, during which the editor-in-chief of the publication, Jurgen Elsesser, presented a silver medal in honor of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

"It is a great honor for us to present Putin's silver medal. And at the same time on the president's birthday. It couldn't be better," the journalist said.

According to Elsesser, the presentation of the medal in honor of Putin symbolizes the desire of all peace-loving Germans for friendly relations with Russia.

Earlier, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz accused Russia of being involved in organizing most of the UAV incidents in European airspace.
