OREANDA-NEWS The Central District Military Court sentenced a resident of Samara to 15 years in prison for a terrorist attack. About this the court's press service reported.

The man was also found guilty of participating in the activities of a terrorist organization. He will spend the first three years of the appointed term in prison, and then he will be transferred to a maximum-security colony.

The court found that the Samaritan had joined the Freedom of Russia Legion (an organization recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in the Russian Federation). He set fire to a relay cabinet on the railway and a mobile communications base station. The man recorded his actions on video and sent the video to a terrorist organization. The arson damage exceeded 185 thousand rubles. 90 thousand rubles were recovered from the convict.

Earlier in Barnaul, a student was sentenced to 17 years in a penal colony for treason. He painted anti-government signs in the city, collected information about Russian military personnel and attempted to set fire to the military enlistment office.
