OREANDA-NEWS  A three-year-old boy was killed and his parents injured after a UAV crashed into an apartment building in a suburb of Voronezh, said Alexander Gusev, Governor of the Voronezh Region.

"As a result of the crash of a UAV in the suburbs of Voronezh, a fire broke out in a private house, in which, unfortunately, a three-year-old boy died. His parents were injured in various degrees of severity," Gusev wrote.

In the same municipality, a 19-year-old young man was slightly injured and did not require hospitalization. The roof of a warehouse in one of the marketplaces and the facade of another warehouse were damaged in the district, the message says. Glazing, roofing and outbuildings were damaged in nine private houses.

"Replacement of windows and repair of communications will also be required in 15 apartments of five apartment buildings. About a dozen cars were hit by shrapnel," he added.

In two more districts, the roof, windows and facade of two private households were damaged.

In total, according to the governor, the air defense neutralized 36 drones over Voronezh and six districts of the region overnight. The threat of a UAV attack remains for the entire territory of the Voronezh Region, he added.
