OREANDA-NEWS At about three o'clock in the morning on August 1, residents of the western Moscow region began to call emergency services and report the buzzing of drone motors over villages, and then loud explosions. It worked air defense, which hit the attacking drones.

" Several drones were shot down by air defense systems while trying to fly to Moscow. One flew to the same tower in the City as the last time. The facade at the level of the 21st floor is damaged. The glazing of 150 sq. m is broken," said Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The head of the city added that there is no information about the victims.

The early morning in the business district, despite the occasion, is quite calm. The first office clerks and cafe workers leave the MCC station and wander casually to work. The highway hums behind him, in front of the utilities again excavated the sidewalk to lay communications. Behind the clutter of construction fences, passers-by do not immediately notice a couple of fire trucks and police mini buses.

The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported: "On the night of August 1, an attempt of a terrorist attack by the Kiev regime by unmanned aerial vehicles on objects in the city of Moscow and the Moscow region was stopped. Two Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed in the air by air defense over the territory of Odintsovo and Narofominsky districts of the Moscow region. Another drone was suppressed by electronic warfare and, having lost control, crashed on the territory of a complex of non-residential buildings in Moscow City."

There are offices in the tower where the UAV dived. They were empty in the early morning. The blast wave knocked out six windows, about a dozen around were covered with soot.

The flying fragments riddled the facade of the skyscraper opposite.

The 10th floor of the complex, where another drone was removed on Sunday, April 30, has already been sheathed with temporary panels.
