OREANDA-NEWS  A visitor to the Hermitage, who sat on the throne in St. George's Hall on Sunday, was sent for a medical examination due to inappropriate behavior, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported.

The commander-in-Chief of the Russian Guard for the Northwestern District reported on Sunday that a visitor to the State Hermitage Museum in St. George's Hall went behind a rope fence and sat on the Large Imperial Throne. The man reacted aggressively to the remark of the caretaker of the museum and tried to resist the summoned guards, he was detained. 

According to the Hermitage, the visitor, who hid a Japanese tanto knife in his shoes, read the text on the throne. The museum did not provide its contents.
