OREANDA-NEWS  The British telecommunications group Truphone, which is owned by Russian businessman Roman Abramovich and his partners, was sold to two European entrepreneurs for one pound sterling. This was reported by the Financial Times (FT) newspaper.

According to her, the new owners of the company were German businessman Hakan Koch, who deals with used cars, and his business partner Pyrros Koussios, who was previously involved in telecommunications. 90 percent will go to Kochu, and 10 percent to Kussios.

The deal has been studied for several months by the British Ministry of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy for compliance with the National Security and Investment Act.

Abramovich turned out to be the most impoverished billionaire in Russia by the end of 2022. It is reported that he lost more than half of his fortune, a year ago his assets were estimated at $ 18 billion, now — at 7.8 billion. Abramovich suffered the greatest losses among about 20 Russian billionaires. Together, they lost about $95 billion.
