An athlete from Krasnoyarsk fell off a glacier in Dombay and died.

OREANDA-NEWS Mikhail Morozenko, a participant in the Trail Running Energy race in Dombay, died while running the race, participant of the tournament Tatyana Cherusheva reported on the VKontakte social network.
The tragedy occurred in Karachay-Cherkessia on June 13. Krasnoyarets Morozenko, who claimed a distance of 100 km, fell off a glacier near Alibek Pass on the 12th kilometer of the way.
"Misha fell off the snowfields and rolled down very quickly, trying to cut himself with a stick, but the surface was very hard after a frosty night (if he had survived, it would have been a miracle, but, unfortunately, it did not happen). Misha was a fighter with a steely character and at the moment of the fall he did everything in his power to survive. Misha has a daughter, Veronica, and a wife, Katya," Cherusheva said.
