OREANDA-NEWS  An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 occurred near Sevastopol. This is reported by the European Mediterranean Seismological Center on its website.

It is noted that the tremor was recorded at 05:42 local time. The hearth lay at a depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter was located 59 kilometers from Sevastopol and 51 kilometers from Balaklava.

Tremors in the waters of the Black Sea 25 kilometers from the coast of Crimea were also recorded on February 27. The strength of the earthquake reached 3.1, and its epicenter was located in the sea about 39 kilometers south of Yalta. Then the director of the Crimean Republican Center for Seismic and Landslide Hazard Assessment, technical inspection of construction sites (CRC) Tatiana Gorelova linked the tremors with the earthquake in Turkey.
