OREANDA-NEWS US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken plans to visit Israel on November 3, Reuters reports with reference to the American Foreign Ministry. This will be the second visit of the head of the State Department to Israel since the beginning of that country's war with the Palestinian radical movement Hamas.

According to Reuters, during the visit, Mr. Blinken plans to hold talks with the political leadership of Israel and discuss the course of hostilities with local politicians. After that, the US Secretary of State plans to visit "some countries in the region" (which ones are not named), the State Department clarified.

Prior to that, Anthony Blinken came to Israel on October 12. Then he held talks with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and expressed his full support for him after the attack on the country by Hamas militants.
