OREANDA-NEWS  The level of digital maturity in Russia has increased significantly since 2019, with more than double the growth to 75%. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

According to Chernyshenko, the digital maturity rate has reached almost 75%, compared to 32% in 2019. He also noted that the economic impact of the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) in various industries and government administration has amounted to over 1 trillion rubles. Chernyshenko made this statement during a meeting with heads of digital transformations within the CIPR-2024 framework.

Chernyshenko emphasized that mass socially significant services have been fully transferred online, with the share of households with high-speed internet access increasing to 86.4%. Additionally, investments in domestic AI solutions have tripled.According to the deputy chairman of the government of the Russian Federation, the growth rate of investments in domestic IT solutions is expected to double by 2030. It is also important to maintain the pace of work and join forces in implementing the new national project, "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State".

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Grigorenko noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has identified digital transformation as a national development goal of the country. To achieve this goal, it is planned to develop the domestic infrastructure for data transmission and processing, create electronic platforms in key sectors of the economy, and public administration. The goal is to ensure that 80% of Russian organizations use domestic solutions by 2030, he added.Earlier in May, Grigorenko, as Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, was appointed to oversee digital development, communications, artificial intelligence (AI) implementation, and antitrust policies. He also has responsibility for the national project "Digital Economy."
