OREANDA-NEWS  China has returned the pre-pandemic conditions for issuing visas for Russians. To travel to the country, Russians can apply for work, study, family and other types of visas. This was announced by the Consul General of China in Khabarovsk Jiang Xiaoyan.

"Now that the pandemic has begun to decline, the Consulate General simplifies visa procedures. Russian citizens can apply for crew, guest, work, business, family and long-term study visas. The requirements for documents have mostly returned to the ones in force before the pandemic," Jiang Xiaoyang said in an interview with Interfax. He gave no other details.

After the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, China closed its borders to foreign tourists. It was possible to enter the country only with a diplomatic, service or study visa. In addition to a set of documents, visa applicants had to provide the results of PCR testing, and they also had to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
