OREANDA-NEWS Young people who are conscripted into the army will not serve in the free military zone, as before, the head of the Main Organizational and Mobilization Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Yevgeny Burdinsky, confirmed.

In Russia, the autumn conscription into the Russian Army traditionally begins on October 1, but for the first time, the deployment takes place throughout the year.

"Once again, I want to emphasize that conscripted military personnel will not be sent to carry out the tasks of a special military operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, as well as on the territory of Ukraine," Burdinsky said in an interview with the Krasnaya Zvezda newspaper.
