OREANDA-NEWS. The bill of the US Congress on non-recognition of the annexation of Crimea to Russia is indifferent to the inhabitants of the peninsula, with the same success in the republic in response they may adopt a document on non-recognition of the sovereignty of the States over Alaska.

This was said in response to how earlier the House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs of the US Congress supported a bill prohibiting the US authorities from recognizing Russian sovereignty over Crimea.

A representative of the Crimean parliament told RIA Novosti: "We are not interested in the Americans' point of view. Whether they recognize Crimea or not, nothing will change either in Russia or in Crimea. We can just as well prepare and adopt a document on non-recognition of US sovereignty over Alaska. We will accept such a document and distribute it all over the world. Let's see what the US authorities will say then, let them prove it to the whole world. "

At the same time, he noted that no one would do this, since Russia is very "responsible and respectful towards the internal policies of other states."

According to him, Washington should learn from Moscow's policy of non-interference in the internal affairs of other states. The vice-speaker added: "It's time for the US to calm down. Their point of view has absolutely no influence on Russia's decisions."
