OREANDA-NEWS In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, several settlements were covered with dense smoke. The cause of the acrid thick fog was forest fires, RT reports, citing the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Russian region.

The publication shows footage taken by eyewitnesses. The photos show how the streets and houses in the north of the Russian region are shrouded in smog. However, the authors do not specify which localities they are talking about.

Rescuers urged residents not to leave their homes unnecessarily, tightly close windows and use masks or respirators.

Earlier, the village of Vladimiro-Alexandrovskoye in Primorsky Krai was covered with acrid smoke due to a fire at a landfill. In the video, shot by a local resident, it was possible to notice a thick smog, standing like a dark wall in the village in the mornings. People complained that the smoke made it difficult for them to breathe, as well as sore throats and coughing.
