OREANDA-NEWS  Russia exported about 2 million tons of fish in 2025. Shipments may exceed this figure in 2026, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev expects.

"Russia is one of the leading fishing powers and, consequently, exporters of these products. In 2025, we shipped about 2 million tons of fish and seafood abroad. And since the beginning of 2026 - more than 1.5 million tons more. Hopefully, by the end of the year, the volume of supplies will exceed last year's level," he said at the International Fisheries Forum in St. Petersburg.

According to him, Russian fish products are loved and appreciated by customers in more than 100 countries. "And the Russian Federation is always open to cooperation with its partners," he said.
