OREANDA-NEWS  Russia will be able to take the words of French President Emmanuel Macron, who condemned the strikes on Ukraine, if Paris also criticizes the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Donbass. This was stated by the press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin Dmitry Peskov.

The Kremlin representative recalled that Ukrainian artillery has been shelling civilian objects and residential buildings of residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics since 2014. "We have not heard a single condemnation of the French leadership," Peskov stressed, responding to Macron.

Earlier, the French president said that Russia should be punished for missile strikes on Ukraine, and noted the inadmissibility of attacks on civilian targets.
