OREANDA-NEWS  In November 2023, the demand for teenagers from employers in Russia increased 3.5 times, and the average salary offered — up to 53.2 thousand rubles. This is evidenced by the data of the Avito Work study, which RIA Novosti cites.

Interest in employment among young Russians increased by 63 percent. Applicants were most often interested in working in the fields of courier delivery, tourism and logistics. Their desired salary averaged 32 thousand rubles.

The highest salaries for teenagers are offered in the automotive segment (72 thousand rubles), transport and logistics (66 thousand rubles) and IT (65 thousand rubles). At the same time, the number of vacancies is highest in the beauty segment - it has increased 4.4 times over the year, and the average salary for applicants has increased by 10 percent, to 52 thousand rubles. The increase in vacancies in the sales segment increased 4.1 times, and the average salary — up to 40 thousand rubles.

Over the past five years, Russians have begun to think less about their careers and prefer comfortable working conditions to professional development. The majority of citizens dream of working from home (59 percent), appreciate flexible schedules (49 percent) and want to build a working week so as to maintain a balance between work and personal life (41 percent). Therefore, 80 percent of companies began to implement a hybrid or remote work format to motivate staff.

According to the materials of the survey conducted by "Work" and "Sberbank", 26 percent of Russians burn out at work as much as possible. The main reasons for burnout were the pressure of superiors and the lack of sufficient resources needed to complete tasks.
