OREANDA-NEWS  Former U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink told what actions the United States should take to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. She said this on CNN.

Brink said that the United States should gain access to Russian assets frozen in Europe in order to purchase weapons for its own needs and for Ukraine.

"I believe that the only way to achieve the goals of the US presidential administration Donald Trump's plan to end the war is to put pressure on Russia. I advise Trump to immediately impose more sanctions," the diplomat urged.

Earlier, Trump spoke out against an "unconditional" ceasefire in Ukraine. He said that Russian President Vladimir Putin allegedly does not intend to end the conflict.
