OREANDA-NEWS  The families of the Russian mobilized will receive a free quota for infertility treatment and sperm freezing. This was stated to TASS by the president of the public organization "Union of Lawyers of Russia" Igor Trunov.

He explained that he had previously sent a corresponding appeal to the country's Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. "The Ministry of Health of Russia has determined the possibility of financial support at the expense of the federal budget for the free preservation and storage of germ cells (sperm) for citizens mobilized to participate in a special military operation in Ukraine (SVO) for 2022-2024," Trunov said.

The President of the "Union of Lawyers" stressed that he already intends to apply for such a benefit for several couples where men became participants in a special operation. The subsequent free use of biomaterial, according to the lawyer, will be regulated by law if there are indications within the framework of compulsory medical insurance (CHI).
