According to the website of the Kamchatka Geophysical Service, the magnitude of the new tremors was 4.6, 4.0, 3.7, 3.6 and 4.1. All of them were recorded in the Pacific Ocean, in the same area where an earthquake of magnitude 6.7 occurred earlier - about 50 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky

The distance from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is 48 kilometers, the depth is 99.5. Later, scientists increased the magnitude to 6.9. In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky itself, according to eyewitnesses, walls shook and windows rattled, people ran out of buildings into the street.
