OREANDA-NEWS  Gazprombank announced the transfer of part of its assets to Veles Management, including Mega Management Company and 14 Mega shopping malls in 12 regions of Russia. These are facilities in Moscow, the Moscow region, the Leningrad Region, Omsk, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Adygea, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Nizhny Novgorod. The operational and strategic management of the Megi portfolio will be carried out by the Mega Management Company team and the Sibfinance LLC team.

Oksana Kozlova has been appointed the new CEO of Mega Management Company. Her predecessor, Lyubov Popova, will transfer to Gazprombank and will develop the portfolio of commercial real estate and other projects managed by this structure.

Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprombank Tigran Khachaturov, whose words are quoted in the bank's message, explained the transfer of assets to Veles Management by the need to implement a further stage in the development of the largest commercial real estate portfolio. "We can say with confidence that we have taken Mega centers to a whole new level: we have ensured business continuity and employee protection during the period of turbulence, created new opportunities for Russian brands, and promptly replaced 400.7 thousand square meters of IKEA," said Mr. Khachaturov.

Gazprombank has closed a deal to buy out the Mega shopping mall network in Russia from the Swedish company Ingka Centers (IKEA structures) in the fall of 2023. The deal includes 14 shopping malls with a total area of 2.3 million square meters. m.
