OREANDA-NEWS  Financing for the implementation of the state national policy has increased by a third since this year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said.

"Since 2025, its financing (of the state national policy program - ed.) has been increased by more than a third," Golikova said at the final board meeting of the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs.

According to her, last year, 65 regions of Russia received subsidies to strengthen the unity of the Russian nation and the ethnocultural development of peoples, to support the economic and social development of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East.

She stressed that the time has come to review the mechanism for providing a single subsidy, and asked the agency to start acting proactively, to introduce control through sociological measurements.

The Deputy Prime Minister also noted that a pilot project is being conducted under the leadership of the FADN to create centers for the socio-cultural adaptation of foreign citizens. The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Republic of Tatarstan, the Khabarovsk Territory, as well as Kuzbass and the Chelyabinsk Region participate in it.
