OREANDA-NEWS  The Higher School of Economics has decided to train participants in a special military operation of their children and close relatives at the expense of the university's own funds, the press service of the HSE reported.

"The Higher School of Economics will train its children and close relatives at the expense of the university's own funds in the main educational programs of the participants. This decision was made today by the Rector of the Higher School of Economics Nikita Anisimov. According to the presidential decree, a special quota for the children of the participants of the SVO appeared — 10% of the places from the admission control figures were allocated according to it. HSE intends to accept students in excess of this quota, paying for their education at its own expense," the report says. It is noted that this decision will affect both military personnel and volunteers participating in the SVO, as well as their close relatives, including children, spouses, siblings.

The university added that training at the expense of HSE's own funds will be available, including to those who are already studying on a commercial basis, the only condition for transferring from paid places to study at the expense of the university will be the successful development of the educational program.
