OREANDA-NEWS In the village of Soloti in the Valuysky district of the Belgorod region, a 14-year-old teenage girl was wounded by shrapnel after shelling from Ukraine. The governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov wrote about this on Wednesday, January 3, in his Telegram channel.

"A fourteen—year-old girl has a non-penetrating shrapnel wound to the left half of her chest," he noted.

According to the head of the region, the doctors provided the child with all the necessary assistance and allowed him to recover home, since there is no need for hospitalization of the victim.

Also on January 3, the governor announced that the missile danger siren had been launched again in Belgorod. Shortly before that, he reported on the work of air defense systems over the Belgorod and Belgorod regions.
