OREANDA-NEWS  A lynx was spotted on the territory of one of the Irkutsk enterprises, residents need to comply with security measures, the GUMVD of the Irkutsk region reports.

"The duty station of the police department ... received a message from the shift supervisor of the watchdog service of one of the organizations located in the Sverdlovsk district of the regional center. The man reported that he noticed an animal similar to a lynx in the surrounding area," the message says.

It is noted that police officers went to the scene, who studied the video recordings from outdoor surveillance cameras. The footage shows how the beast was walking freely through the territory. The police conducted a search, but the predator could not be found. The Ministry of Internal Affairs warned residents of the city that when meeting with an animal, it is necessary to observe safety measures.
