OREANDA-NEWS  In Kamchatka, after a volcanic eruption, several villages were covered with ash. This was reported by the press service of the regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Ashfall as a result of the Shiveluch volcano eruption was recorded in the villages of Klyuchi and Kozyrevsk in the Ust-Kamchatsky district. As noted, the amount of ash that fell was insignificant. There was also a small ashfall in the village of Atlasovo in the Milkovsky municipal district, it did not disrupt the usual rhythm of life for the settlement.

Shiveluch fired two ash volleys on Wednesday morning, July 29. The emissions reached heights of nine and seven and a half kilometers. The last ashfall near the peak was observed on July 24, when ash fell on the village of Klyuchi.

On the same day, one of the Hawaiian volcanoes erupted. The giant Kilauea became more active: lava fountains erupting from Halemaumau crater rose to a height of 30 meters.
