OREANDA-NEWS  ANO "Smart Apartment Building", which unites developers, telecom operators and electronics manufacturers, proposed to equip all new apartment buildings with smart meters for water, gas and electricity. This is reported by the newspaper Kommersant.

The document developed by the organization also suggests combining the existing nomenclature of devices and introducing regulation regarding their mandatory installation in new homes by 2030, including creating an application for citizens to manage this equipment.

In addition, within the framework of the concept, it is planned to create a minimum list of technical requirements for meters. The CEO of ANO Nikita Utkin noted in an interview with the publication that developers often use incompatible devices.

The Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation proposed to include the costs of creating and maintaining digital infrastructure in housing and communal services tariffs. As a result, consumers will have to pay for the creation and maintenance of digital infrastructure, which will include technical means and websites.
