OREANDA-NEWS The State Duma Committee on State Construction and Legislation on Monday approved an amendment on administrative responsibility for promoting gender reassignment.
The amendment provides for responsibility for the promotion of gender reassignment, expressed in the dissemination of information or the commission of public actions aimed at creating the attractiveness of sex reassignment or imposing information about sex reassignment that arouses interest in this topic.
This will entail the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens in the amount of 50 thousand to 100 thousand rubles; on officials - from 100 thousand to 200 thousand rubles; on legal entities - from 800 thousand to one million rubles or administrative suspension of activities for up to 90 days.
The amendment was introduced by the chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein to the second reading of the relevant draft law on responsibility for propaganda of LGBT, pedophilia and dissemination of such information among minors.
