OREANDA-NEWS  State Duma deputy Vitaly Milonov proposed to introduce a badge of distinction for outstanding fathers with many children. This is reported by RT with reference to an appeal to the chairman of the Government of Russia Mikhail Mishustin.

According to Milonov, in recent years Russia has taken a course to support the institution of family and childbearing. Now, as the parliamentarian notes, various signs, titles and incentives for mothers with many children have been introduced in the country. In particular, the honorary title of "Mother Heroine" was recently returned.

At the same time, the deputy recalled that such awards are also awarded to outstanding fathers in a number of regions. Milonov noted that the introduction "would serve to promote a strong marriage, responsibility and fatherhood."

The award could be claimed by Russian fathers with many children, "demonstrating a true example of paternal care, work, responsibility and love towards their families," Milonov summed up.

Earlier, Vitaly Milonov proposed to introduce compulsory study of sacred texts into the general school curriculum.
