OREANDA-NEWS In Russia, was decided to sell Chinese electric cars of the Rising premium segment. Electrocars will be engaged in the implementation of SAIC sub-brand cars, Autonews reports.

The Rising F7 liftback and the R7 crossover will be the first to be brought to the country. The first model is positioned as an alternative to the Audi A6 and Mercedes-Benz E-Class. A four-wheel drive car with two electric motors with a total capacity of 544 horsepower can travel 600 kilometers on a single charge and accelerates to hundreds of kilometers per hour in 3.7 seconds. The R7 crossover is compared in size with the BMW X6. It has a similar powerplant as the F7, but the power reserve is up to 606 kilometers.

Now some car dealers bring Rising electric cars privately. So, R7 can be purchased for 6.7 million, and F7 — for 5.3 million rubles. However, the official prices for both models have not yet been announced.

Rising is not the only premium electric cars from China available in Russia. Earlier, sales of cars of Geely's subsidiary brand called Zeekr began in the country. Three models were sold — the Zeekr X crossover, the Zeekr 001 sports car and the Zeekr 009 minivan at a price of 6 million rubles.

Earlier, pre-orders for the domestic Atom electric car from the Kama company began in Russia. The start of production is scheduled for mid-2025, but 36 thousand people have already participated in the booking. It was necessary to pay 7000 rubles for booking a car.
