Representatives of the prosecutor's office, in particular, clarified that there had been no oil spill during the sinking of the Zeus vessel in the waters of the Malaya Neva River near the Makarov Embankment, and the circumstances of the incident were being established.
"The owner is already trying to get his property out. Why it sank is unknown. The ice situation probably had an impact," writes Moika 78 in this regard, which published a photo from the scene.
Earlier it became known that the Gulf of Finland was completely covered with ice for the first time in 15 years. At the same time, it was announced that on February 22, the ice would break and shrink against the background of uncomfortable weather.
