In the Kherson region, an agreement was signed for another 400 tons of drinking water for residents

OREANDA-NEWS The authorities of the Kherson region signed an agreement with entrepreneurs on the supply of 400 tons of bottled water to the residents of the region. This was reported to TASS by Acting Governor Vladimir Saldo.
"In June-July, about 1 thousand tons were delivered in plastic bottles, in addition, water is delivered by tankers. In August, the government of the Kherson region signed a monthly contract with entrepreneurs for the supply of 10 tons of bottled water daily, as well as an agreement for another 400 tons free of charge," he said.
The balance clarified that part of the artesian wells has become unusable for microbiological and sanitary-chemical indicators. "These are, first of all, some settlements of the Gornostaevsky and Ivanovo districts, some - Kakhovsky, Novokakhovsky and some other districts. In this regard, we have established an uninterrupted supply of drinking water to the settlements in need," he added.
