OREANDA-NEWS An unknown person in camouflage fired at police officers in the suburb of Novoshakhtinsk in the Rostov region, a representative of the regional Interior Ministry headquarters told.
According to him, the incident occurred this afternoon. "A man in a camouflage uniform opened fire on police officers, after which he fled the scene," the agency interlocutor said. One of the policemen received a gunshot wound. Governor Vasily Golubev clarified that the condition of the victim is assessed as moderate. A team of vascular surgeons from the regional clinical hospital was sent to Novoshakhtinsk.

The administration of Novoshakhtinsk asks residents to leave the streets, take shelter in the premises and not try to participate independently in the detention of the suspect.
