OREANDA-NEWS In St. Petersburg, an innovative product has been developed — "smart" clothing that generates energy when a person moves.

The authors of the development are a group of young scientists, the St. Petersburg Diary reports.

"Our team is going to launch the production of smart clothes that will be able to generate energy from body movement and temperature differences, and will also have a climate control system. For this purpose, a prototype has been developed that will be thoroughly tested," commented Alexander Ivanov, one of the authors of the idea.

The Cyber Vestis project is one of the first Russian prototypes of smart clothing. Its presentation will take place at the festival "From the Screw!" in Sochi on April 26-29.

Earlier, Nation News reported that a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ will launch the production of domestic multiplexers.
