OREANDA-NEWS   Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the President of the Russian Federation, said that integration within the EAEU continues, although rough edges are inevitable.

"Integration (within the EAEU - ed.) continues to deepen. There are, of course, some rough edges, this is inevitable. The closer the integration, the more problems arise. Therefore, this is a completely natural process," Peskov told reporters.

In June 2024, the protocol on amendments to the EAEU Treaty regarding the possibility of providing financial assistance to cooperative projects in industries entered into force. The projects are financed by subsidizing the interest rate on the loan in the amount of 100% of the key rate of the loan agreement currency in the national currency of any EAEU member state. At least three legal entities from three EAEU member states can participate in the cooperative project.
