OREANDA-NEWS According to SHOT, the drone crashed on the territory of the Ilsky refinery at about 02:00 on February 9, after which an explosion occurred and a fire started. Local residents also told the channel that they heard a loud sound from the Afipsky refinery.
According to preliminary data, there are no injuries. The open gorenje was eliminated by the plant's services by three o'clock in the morning, reports SHOT.
Earlier, the governor of the Volgograd region, Andrei Bocharov, said that a fire at an oil refinery in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd occurred due to the consequences of the fall of an APU drone. According to him, the enemy hit the Kalachevsky district and the Zakanalya district, the attacks were repelled by air defense and electronic warfare forces.
Before that, the Telegram channel 112 reported on the attack of a Ukrainian drone on Yaroslavl. It was noted that the APU drone fell near the hydrocracking plant at the Slavneft-YANOS refinery. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation did not comment on this information.
