Residents of the Russian city noted that they had heard at least five explosions. After that, a column of smoke was noticed in Orsk, and a siren was also sounding.
The Governor of the Orenburg Region, Evgeny Solntsev, had previously announced the introduction of the Carpet plan. It was clarified that the airports of Orenburg and Orsk do not accept or send flights for security reasons.
The Ministry of Defense said that on the night of August 11, 396 Ukrainian drones were shot down over the regions of Russia. The territories of the Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orenburg, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan, Tambov and Tula regions were attacked.
