OREANDA-NEWS   The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, threatened to avenge the victims of the attack of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the barracks in the city of Grozny. The politician published his comment on the situation on the Telegram channel.

He noted that as a result of the Ukrainian drone strike, four people were slightly injured. According to Kadyrov, the personnel on duty at that time were in rooms protected from such attacks.

"We will not leave it like this!" the Chechen head promised. He added that a drone detonated in the air damaged the roof and knocked out windows in the barracks.

Prior to that, Kadyrov published footage of the consequences of an attempted drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on Grozny. The video shows the damaged military barracks.

Ukraine tried to attack Chechnya on the night of Thursday, December 12. Residents then reported the explosion. The drone was shot down in Grozny at 00:55 over the barracks buildings of the special police regiment. This is the third case of an attack by Ukrainian drones on the republic.
