OREANDA-NEWS Director of the Federal Service of the National Guard of Russia (Rosgvardiya) Viktor Zolotov awarded the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov with the medal "For Military Distinction." This was announced on Telegram by Kadyrov's associate, Magomed Daudov.

According to Daudov, the award is a testament to Kadyrov's courage and selfless work. He added that the head of Chechnya "makes a huge contribution to achieving the goals and objectives of the special military operation."

It is known that the medal is awarded for bravery in battle, as well as "for successfully guiding the actions of subordinates while performing combat missions." It is not specified for which operation Kadyrov received the award.

Earlier it was reported that Kadyrov was awarded the Order of the Group of Forces in Germany for the Soviet military serving in Germany.
