Kuzyaev said that the Russian Premier League (RFPL) is not far behind Ligue 1, but it is not progressing. "The level of the Russian championship is optimal compared to France. We also have a good championship. In Le Havre, the training is more intense than in Zenit. But each coach has his own requirements," he shared.

The 30-year-old Kuzyaev moved to Le Havre on July 12. The agreement with the Russian is designed for two years. At the moment, he has played eight matches in the French championship, in which he scored two goals.

In the 2022/2023 season, Kuzyaev played for Zenit St. Petersburg, his contract with the club expired at the end of June. The midfielder has been playing for the blue-white-Blues since 2017. Together with the team, he became the champion of Russia five times, took the National Cup and won the Super Cup twice.
