OREANDA-NEWS  The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan imposed a ban on the export of feed for six months, the decree was signed by the head of the government Akylbek Zhaparov.

"To establish a temporary ban for a period of six months on the export from Kyrgyzstan (with the exception of re-export, transit, as well as humanitarian aid) of certain types of agricultural goods," the decree says.

The list of goods prohibited for export includes hay, straw, compound feed, bran, barley, wheat, rice, oats.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan has been instructed to notify the Eurasian Economic Commission of the introduction of a temporary ban no later than three days from the date of entry into force of this resolution.

The resolution comes into force after seven days from the date of official publication.

Earlier, the Ministry of Agriculture of Kyrgyzstan submitted a proposal to the government to introduce restrictions on the export of feed until the end of 2023 to ensure the country's food security.
