OREANDA-NEWS  In the third quarter of 2022, land plots for the construction of a private house rose in price in Russia — relative to 2021, prices rose by 20 percent. This is stated in the study of Avito Real Estate, reports TASS.

The cost of a hundred acres of land began to cost 50 thousand rubles, the plot will cost 600 thousand rubles. The most expensive objects are located in the Crimea, where the cost has reached 1.95 million rubles. Below in the list are the Krasnodar Territory and the Leningrad Region — the plots cost 1.6 million and 1.35 million rubles, respectively. In the Rostov and Moscow regions, 1.29 million and 1.2 million rubles will have to be paid for such real estate, respectively.

The company noted that the country continues the trend for suburban life, which was formed during the coronavirus pandemic. "For reasons of economy, Russians prefer to buy land plots without a contract: they independently determine the project, choose materials and supervise the construction period," Avito Real Estate explained.

Earlier, MOZAIK development found out that the demand for small plots has increased in cottage settlements in the Moscow region. In 2022, plots with an area of 6 to 8 acres became the most popular, while in 2019, citizens more often bought objects with a size of 10 to 12 acres.
