OREANDA-NEWS Western countries persistently continue to finish off the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). This opinion was expressed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, RIA Novosti reports.

The minister accused his Western colleagues that they had not learned anything from their failed line to destroy the organization. "We are witnessing the complete degradation of everything that has been created in all three dimensions of security — both military-political, economic, humanitarian and human rights," the Foreign Minister stated.

Lavrov was outraged that only a few people reminded him that the OSCE was created to cooperate and ensure mutual security. He also added that a lot has been done within the framework of this organization.

Earlier, Lavrov called the head of the European Diplomacy, Josep Borrell, and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken cowards for their escape from the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting. According to him, they are afraid of any honest conversation with facts on hand.
