OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov called Europe's support for the Kiev regime, which professes Nazism, a disgrace. He stated this at the opening of the IV Congress of the International Russophile Movement, TASS reports.

"Supporting the Kiev regime, because, as [European Commission President] Ursula von der Leyen declared, it defends European values, means only one thing: Europe is ready to support the Nazism of those who profess Nazi ideology, who practice this ideology in their country, as [Ukrainian leader Vladimir] Zelensky does. and those who prohibit language, culture, and education," he said.

Lavrov recalled that laws banning the Russian language in Ukraine were adopted long before the start of the special military operation (SVO) starting in 2017.

"The fact that the West is proud to talk about European values, defended by Ukraine, is a disgrace to the West," the minister said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed hope that Europe had heard Russian President Vladimir Putin's words about a short war. According to him, preparations for a possible war with Russia have become the most popular topic in the speeches of European elites.
