OREANDA-NEWS  Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke about the relationship between President Vladimir Putin and American leader Donald Trump. He said in an interview with France television that heads of state respect each other and communicate as men and major politicians should.

"Now they are talking about the "spirit of Anchorage." He has always been normal in the relationship between Presidents Putin and Trump. They respect each other, they don't always agree on everything, but they know how to talk honestly, without hiding problems and disagreements," said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

According to the minister, the main thing is not the "spirit", but that clear and concrete understandings be achieved.

Earlier, Donald Trump said that it is much more difficult to do business with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky than with Vladimir Putin. It was noted that Trump expresses more confidence in Putin than in any of the European allies of the United States.
