OREANDA-NEWS  President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has arrived in Russia on a visit, the telegram channel "Pool of the First", close to the press service of the head of the republic, reported.

"The Belarusian air force number one is already in Russia," the message says. Belarusian media reported today that Lukashenka has gone on a working visit to Russia. The central part of the meeting will be negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, which will be held on September 15.

The two leaders will discuss regional issues and the international agenda, as well as joint tasks in the economy, in particular in the field of import substitution.

The press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov confirmed the meeting between Putin and Lukashenko. According to him, it will take place tomorrow in Sochi.

The Kremlin spokesman added that Belarus is Russia's "closest ally" and the heads of state constantly communicate.

"Regular reconciliation of watches, coordination of the two closest allies, exchange of opinions and so on," Peskov explained.
The last time a conversation between Putin and Lukashenko was reported on August 30, when the Russian president called the Belarusian leader to congratulate him on his birthday. On the twenty-third of July, they met at the Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg, and the next day they visited Valaam.
